Sony Xperia M Specifications and full Review, Price in India

Once again, Sony has released a lower mid-range phone with extremely good specifications and looks. You have seen Xperia U, Xperia Go etc dual-core phones with value for money pricing but this time, Sony has blown away our mind by releasing a 4″ Android Jelly Bean phone with 1GHz dual-core Krait processor on premium Snapdragon S4 plus chipset. There are few other dual-core players in the market with the almost same price tag but none of those show such versatility like this device , the closest competitor Samsung Galaxy Core has got dual-core Cortex-A5 processor which is actually a mediocre low performance processor. The price of this new phone from Sony in only 12,990 Rs ~ 215 USD. The name of this awesome smartphone is Sony Xperia M C1904. There is also a dual SIM version ‘Xperia M dual C2004′ available in the market with around 14,500 Rs ~ 240 USD price tag. The GPU is also very powerful Adreno 305,  same as the one on Sony Xperia L. This Xperia M has 90% similarities with the  much pricier Xperia L and in the software department, Xperia M is basically better than that of Xperia L as you are getting the great “Small Apps” feature on Xperia M – available on Xperia Z, Xperia ZR etc. high-end mobile phones*. Xperia M also features NFC, a very good quality 5MP camera with front facing VGA camera, 2-step camera shutter key, camera flash, 4GB internal storage and nice 1GB RAM. Check the detailed specifications below along with the side-by-side user experiences below.

*NOTE: Xperia L has got the “Small Apps” feature after the latest firmware update.

PRICE 12,990 INR ~ 215 USD Best value for money phone yet! Rating 5/5!

Strong points: At this price range, Xperia M is the best phone to buy. The build, look, display, touch response everything is flawless and the gaming & multimedia capabilities are also the best you can find on any mid-range phone. The camera is just great.

Weak points: The internal memory is low though you can install an external microSD card. But, you can’t move the install apps data to the external SD card. The display doesn’t feel that much ‘live’ as the Samsung displays, though it’s pretty good for the price.

Suitable for those who want a powerful Android phone with all the latest premium features at a very low price. This device is great for gaming, photography, browsing and listing to music as well.
