PROCESSINGPOWER Processor Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A5 At last you are getting a quad-core processor on a lower mid-range device, though it’s of mediocre quality, but still it’s better than the dual-core processor on Galaxy Grand I9082. Though this phone shares a lot of nice features of the TouchWiz UI on Galaxy Note 2 & Galaxy Grand duos but a lot of key features are missing. This phone is basically an improved version of the Galaxy S Duos, not Galaxy Grand duos.
SAR INFO 0.26 W/kg (head), 0.67 W/kg (body) [US]0.12 W/kg (head) [EU] Far below the limit.
PRICE Approx. 16,000 INR ~ 260 USD Very attractive pricing, value for money rating 4/5

Strong points : Very simple & intuitive user interface with a number of similarities with the premium TouchWiz Nature UX UI of Galaxy Note 2. This phone feels very good in hand. The large display size & very fast best-in-class processor, 1GB RAM & 8GB storage make this device a very good value for money device for the mid-range Android phone seekers.

Weak points : The TouchWiz UI on this Galaxy Grand Quattro is not the full-fledged version of the UI you got on the original Grand I9082.  There are a lot of nice features of the UI missing on this device starting from the lock screen. The Adreno 203 GPU isn’t good for high end gaming & though the processor is quad-core, it’s a mediocre Cortex-A5 processor with low performance. Camera is a big disappointment.

Suitable for those people who are looking for a large display Android Phone with a simple & intuitive user interface, good look & decent sound quality without shedding that much money.

Other options: LG Optimus L9, Samsung Galaxy Grand I9082, Sony Xperia Ion, LG L7 II dual
