HTC E1 – Dual-SIM Android SmartPhone spotted in China, not coming to India
HTC has unveiled a mid-range dual-SIM Android SmartPhone HTC E1 (603e) on Wednesday exclusively for China. It’s up for pre-order on HTC’s online store and there is no word about the phone’s availability in India though a similar phone may come into the Indian markets in the coming months. The price of this device is set to 1799 yuan which equals to around 15,700 Rupees.
HTC E1 is powered by a 1.15 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor & sports a 4.3 inches Super LCD 2 display with WVGA i.e. 480×800 px resolution and runs on Android Jelly Bean v4.1 with HTC sense 4.0+ user interface on it. This phone has also got a 5 megapixels shooter with HD recording and an LED flash, a 2.1 megapixels front camera for video chatting, 8 GB of internal storage, 1 GB of RAM, BeatsAudio enhancement features. Other notable specifications include NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS support, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and a 2100 mAh battery.
There are five color options for this good looking device – pink, blue, white, mint and brown. Another main selling point of HTC E1 in China is its dual-SIM capability competing with the Chinese low cost phone makers like ZTE and Huawei. SIM 1 is capable of providing tri-band GSM and dual-band HSPA connectivity and the SIM 2 can support GSM networks only.
